This fic had me LOL literally. I started chuckling when you mentioned how Steve's Silverado was in the shop, and Steve was wrangling a ride from Danny so he could hang out with him and Gracie. In regards to the secret recipe, I can just see Steve's hurt little puppy face (Alex does that look so well) when Danny tells him he can't help make the Williams' family lasagna (NICE callback to ep 16, BTW). I can also see Steve insisting that Danny call his mother to get her permission. Then, when Gracie backs "Uncle" Steve's request, that's the end for poor Danny. *heehee* I LOVE your Mrs. Williams. Both her "It's Danno this and Uncle Steve that with your girl..." and "the word of a decorated SEAL...good enough for me" were my favorite pieces of her dialogue, but it was all entertaining. I could hear the soft polite naval officer tone in Steve's voice in my head during the moments when he addressed Mrs. Williams. After Danny loses the recipe battle, his last remarks to Steve (especially the "Army" dig to a Navy man) were GREAT!!! LOL!!!
