This was kinda awesome, I was expecting a drabble :P
Love all the thinking stuff at the beginning, it all made sense and was very Modern!Gwen. Loved all the last name changes :D
And Arthur letting go of the door...to take a picture of the view.
But then Gwen got off the roof and I was all ...where are we going, then Merlin showed up, (and why do I think Leon drives much too fast when he's at the wheel? & why can I imagine Gwen going on a date with him to some event...and of course it doesn't work out but they have fun finding out all the ways it doesn't?) and they went back to the precinct - AND GWEN HUGGED MERLIN AND THEY TALKED ABOUT ARTHUR LIKE HE WASN'T STANDING RIGHT THERE ...and they have movie nights, and the whole fact that they're friends hurts Arthur's feelings XD
I'd have to give this 8/10 lol, in the spirit of rating things.
oh and my fav bit was:
Did Leon bring the Jaguar?”
“He did.” Merlin held the door open for his boss.
“Good. Gwen hates it when I show up to the 12th in my limo.
THE IMAGE IN MY HEAD. (& then she'd so weaken one of his chair's chair legs or something passive aggressive to get some of her frustration out.)
