Idk if hurting Merlin is strictly necessary though...I'd still watch Merlin if Merlin got to be happy, promise.
I'm not sure if ppl getting together kills a show. It just means that u've closed one door and now u need to write different kinds of conflicts into the show. Besides, I'm all abt the happy & if ppl r pining over ppl they can't be happy.
